The Tootsie Devil,» I describe a magical night at a bar where I meet a captivating woman who sings beautifully. She’s called the «Tootsie Devil,» and she seems to rise from the ashes of pain, offering a way to escape my struggles. I wonder about the meaning of life and feel alone, so I turn to drinks and smoke to get through the night. As the music fades, I find myself wishing for the Tootsie Devil to take me home, hoping for relief and connection.

    Verse 1:

In the true appeal of magic rush

    Exquisite and purely divine

    An angel, can someone tell

    Walks into the bar tonight

    So she sang…

    Chorus:

    “The Tootsie Devil” she is

    Born of your ashes

    Depriving of your agony

    Finding the way

    The Tootsie Devil

    Your soul claims

    Verse 2:

Wondering why, the meaning of life

No substantial love that one can have

Smoke the joint, drink up your glass

Feel the night, let it pass

    Chorus:

    “The Tootsie Devil” she is

    Born of your ashes

    Depriving of your agony

    Finding the way

    The Tootsie Devil

    Your soul claims

When carried away, your pain is gone

    Life stolen, and in time

Music fades off, asking the “Tootsie Devil”

    Please take me home!

    Chorus:

    “The Tootsie Devil” she is

    Born of your ashes

    Depriving of your agony

    Finding the way

    The Tootsie Devil

    Your soul claims

    Outro:

    The Tootsie Devil

    Please take me home

    The Tootsie Devil

    Please take me home

    MADAME QUEEN KINTSUGI

    Inicio / Entradas etiquetadas «2024»

In Madame Queen Kintsugi, I take you on a journey of transformation and resilience. The story begins with a queen, once perfect and unblemished, who embarks on a journey with her king, dreaming of building a kingdom together. But as doubts and pressures begin to surface, the queen finds herself corroded from within, leading to a deep conflict with her king.

The pain shatters her, and what was once golden begins to decay. Yet, despite her brokenness, the king remains steadfast, never abandoning her. It’s in these moments of despair that the queen begins her healing process, piece by piece, with memories and experiences filling the cracks like rivers of glowing emerald.

As the battle between the queen and king intensifies, the story culminates in a Kintsugi chess match—a symbol of their ongoing struggle. In the end, neither wins, but the journey of healing and self-discovery leaves a lasting impact. This tale is a reflection on the beauty of imperfection and the strength found in mending what is broken.

    MADAME QUEEN KINTSUGI

    Aligning her pieces,

    A queen and her highness,

    Begin their journey,

    Combining their efforts,

    Dreaming of a kingdom,

    Defining their dreams.

    Madame Queen,

    Once a porcelain perfection,

    Silk-smooth skin, no dents,

    Shining like a golden treasure,

    But pressure started within.

    Corrosion from within,

    Doubts that troubled the heart,

    Inciting conflict with her king,

    The first battle begins.

    As pain finally reaches,

    She is shattered, will broken,

    The gold starts to decay,

    Her warm heart grows cold,

    Yet the loving king remained,

    Neither leaving nor forfeiting.

    Madame Queen Kintsugi,

Begins to heal, recovering in pieces,

Glued with emerald rivers of memories.

    With nothing left to do,

    The battle rises again,

    Queen versus King,

    A Kintsugi chess match,

And this time, no one wins.

    Le fin.

     Kintsugi Chess ♟️✨

    Kintsugi Chess

    When broken in pieces,
    Wishes destroyed,
    Great dreams turn upside down,
    Into terrifying voids.

Not all is meant to last,
    One day it all fades,
    But we’re given the chance,
    To rise from the grave.

    Pottery of the heart,
    Kintsugi mends like art,
    Holding all my pieces,
    Filling every hollow,
    With veins of emerald gold.

    Kintsugi king and sun,
    Kintsugi queen and moon,
    Like a game of chess,
    Where victory’s a wound.

    Checkmate!
    The king loses the crown.

    Kintsugi was a light,
    For a meaningful night,
    Survivors had to fight.

    Kintsugi was right,
    The path to my mind,
    The treasure of a heart,
    Well kept under lock.

When a pawn finds its way,
    Near the bitter end game,
    Kintsugi, the king,
    Sowing its pieces,
    Triumphant, stands back,
    Winning the match.

    Live the «Kintsugi Chess
To win, you need a loss,
For joy, you need a tear,
To reborn, you need to be broken.

    Checkmate?

    Me diste elecciones claras,

Enseñar y compartir, a tu lado estar.

In this heartfelt poem, «My Reason for Being,» the concept of Ikigai—finding one’s purpose in life—is explored through four essential parts: Passion, Mission, Vocation, and Profession. The poem delves into personal passions such as art, music, and love, showcasing the importance of creativity and joy. It reflects on the skills and talents that contribute to making others happy and emphasizes the significance of teaching, sharing, and uplifting society. The poem also addresses the need for financial compensation for one’s contributions while acknowledging the challenges and farewells encountered along the journey. Ultimately, it captures the essence of living with purpose, conquering fears, and the desire for enduring love and companionship in the pursuit of true happiness.

    “MY REASON FOR BEING”

    Part 1: Passion

In the dance of life, I seek my truth,

Ikigai whispers through the gentle breeze.

A balance found in passions and dreams,

Where happiness is molded, unique to me.

What fuels my heart, ignites my soul?

Art, music, and you, the trinity whole.

With every brushstroke, every note sung,

I find my essence, my journey begun.

    But your stroke and indeed,

    That was all gone.

    Clear choices you gave,

    Good-bye. Ikigai was concluded.

    Part 2: Mission

What skills do I wield with a deft hand?

    Creativity flows, ideas grand.

In making you smile, in joy’s pure glow,

My purpose shines, my spirit aglow.

    My mission stays

Over a true vision to be claimed.

Fight today for peace to be achieved.

    Struggle first, peace comes next.

    Part 3: Vocation

What can I give to the world so wide?

Teaching and sharing, standing by your side.

Offering thoughts, my mind’s bright flame,

To better lives, to uplift, to reclaim.

    True self…

    Dreamed yesterday and today.

    You were on your path

    Out of my cornered heart.

    Part 4: Profession

Why should my efforts reap reward’s gleam?

For ideas shared, for nurturing dreams.

In every creation, in every bright spark,

A piece of my heart, a lasting mark.

What matters if success can be shared?

    Illusions were made,

    Destiny was clear,

    Good-bye, my dear.

In **Ikigai**, I find my way,

A reason to rise, to greet each day.

With passion, skill, and purpose clear,

I live my truth, I conquer fear.

So if you love my Ikigai…

    If you come back…

It has to be to stay,

    Fighting along the way.

    Le End.

    I am that unbeatable force,
    Always up front,
    Moving forward,
    Never backward.

If you fall, get up, son.
    Stay on your feet,
    No surrender allowed.

For you, this is the beginning,
    This is a new start.
    When aiming for your life,
    Say you will,
    Never tire of it.

    If you believe in yourself,
    Stay true to your ways,
    Keep your objectives clear.

    For when you want,
    The reason for your life.

    Stay out of trouble,
    Where love calls,
    Be sure to answer.
    It won’t be a mistake,
    If you do not risk,
    If you foresee
    All that could happen.

    Amusing as it is,
    Delightful and entertaining,
    The passion you feel,
The meaning of what’s to come.

    Ain’t It Our Fault

Relationships are often complex and filled with moments of joy, pain, and introspection. In my latest poem, «Ain’t It Our Fault,» I explore the nuances of a relationship marked by shared mistakes, unspoken truths, and the inevitable passage of time. This poem delves into the emotional journey of two people who once shared a deep connection but find themselves grappling with doubt, insecurities, and the lingering question of where things went wrong.

«Ain’t It Our Fault» reflects on the bittersweet end of a relationship, highlighting the collective responsibility for its demise. The poem begins by acknowledging the initial lust and passion, followed by a series of contradictions and human frailties that lead to broken trust and regret. Through vivid imagery and poignant metaphors, the poem captures the essence of love lost, the weight of unfulfilled promises, and the haunting memories that remain. As the narrator contemplates their actions and the irreversible passage of time, they ultimately confront the harsh reality that sometimes, love simply runs out.

    Ain’t It Our Fault

    Not to be mentioned,

    our sanctioned lust.

    Blood throughout our veins,

    nothing more after pain.

When they say it’s just a “game.”

Hurry, we walk when we run.

We don’t say when we must,

we break trust with our hands.

We listen to those we shouldn’t,

    we tumble where it’s firm.

We make shadows in the clear,

we bring the moon over the sun.

Now in the memory we forget

    who we both were.

    Now the sourness is left,

    the sweetness has melted.

    If I made mistakes…

    because I did…

I believed I could stay true to you,

    and yes… I did.

    When you doubted, I faded.

    You questioned me,

    no opening argument.

    We became brave

to kill the bravery of decency,

    to leave the insecurities

    over the cowardice.

    So if this is it…

    this will be

    the bitter end

    of you and I.

    When all that remains

are the memories of the past,

the questions of what would be

    gone like a finger snap.

    So… Ain’t It Our Fault?

    It was the wrong time…

My voice will vanish in a whisper,

my image will blur on the screen,

my actions will be a memory…

But as you know… Ain’t It Our Fault?

We just ran out of love.

    My Equinox of time

    Inicio / Entradas etiquetadas «2024»

In «Sunflower and Moon’s Farewell,» I delve into the poignant emotions of bidding farewell to a cherished lover. Through the poem, I explore themes of transition, sacrifice, and longing, reflecting on the memories we’ve shared and the pain of our impending separation. Despite the heartache, I come to accept that we’re moving on divergent paths. This farewell signifies closure yet leaves room for reminiscing about our shared moments, acknowledging their significance in my life’s journey.

Always in the flux of becoming and being,

A transitional fate we can’t help seeing.

A memory lost in crowded hands’ embrace,

    Desperation’s call, loneliness’ cruel face.

With shields against swords, we fought in vain,

Stabbed by feelings, hearts wounded by pain.

A thousand knives I took for you, my dear,

Yet by your hand, a million more appear.

You, the Queen Bee, seeking in secret’s veil,

Wandering through fields, lost without a trail.

In Paradise found, or in hell’s deep hole,

Your purpose sought, your restless soul.

Remembering nights devoid of innocence’ plea,

Death or life, emotions rising, wild and free.

Closer we drew, now further apart we stand,

Sunflower bowing to the distant moon’s command.

Different trails we tread, bidding goodbye’s embrace,

No regrets, just memories of our shared space.

Missing you more, as time slips away,

Goodbye, my all, this is where I stay.

    My Equinox of time

the sun is shining through the trees in the distance

«Equinox of Time» is a beautiful and evocative poem. It captures the essence of balance, transition, and the ever-shifting nature of existence that the verses explore. It suggests a moment of equilibrium amid the chaos of life, where past and future converge in the eternal dance of time. It’s a fitting choice that adds depth and resonance to the work.

This poem is rich with introspection and emotion, exploring themes of chance, fate, and the passage of time.

The repetition of «the now, the then, and the tomorrow» creates a sense of cyclical inevitability, highlighting the complexities of human experience.

The line «Think yesterday… act today… regret tomorrow» encapsulates the bittersweet reality of hindsight and the perpetual struggle to navigate life’s uncertainties. It’s a poignant reminder to seize the moment and embrace the present, even amidst the ambiguity of the future.

selective focus photo of brown and blue hourglass on stones

In the grand design of fate’s scheme,

    It seemed orchestrated, yet unplanned,

Not even across a million years,

    Was it pondered or foreseen,

But stumbled upon as if by chance.

We crawled through pathways to depart,

    Spent moments seeking sight,

Yet no matter how far we strayed,

    The elusive moment slipped away,

    That fleeting glimpse of life,

The instance we believed we’d vanished.

In the definitive yet inconclusive realm,

    Within my precious, magnificent darkness,

May your thoughts of me fade for now,

    Lingering only temporarily,

For all invested, all deemed ‘wasted,’

    We drink to those moments,

Raise our glasses to the sky,

Pledge to the ‘land of togetherness,’

    Where dreams materialize,

    And naught remains but emptiness,

An empty pillow, a miraculous cause,

The nexus of now, then, and tomorrow.

    So allow me to rephrase:

«Reflect on yesterday, act upon today, lament tomorrow.»
